Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the hospital float pool on days. You will be assigned to varied units within your scope of competencies to support patient care needs.

The ideal candidate has an RN degree with at least 18 months of recent hospital bedside RN experience in Med/Surg, IMCU/Stepdown, ICU or ED, and a VA nursing license in good standing.

Qualifications

• RN degree and VA nursing license in good standing.
• At least 18 months of recent hospital bedside RN experience in Med/Surg, IMCU/Stepdown, ICU, or ED.
• Valid RN License to practice in VA.

Responsibilities

• Assessing/admitting patients and performing rounding checks.
• Giving medications and communicating with family members.
• Responsible for overall patient care and collaborating with the team.
• Support across units as a hospital resource RN.
