Job summary

Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Nursing Resource Pool. Roles include staffing across PCU, Med/Surg, Orthopedics/Observation, Oncology, and Dialysis/Stroke units with potential float to ED/ICU based on expertise.

Ideal candidates have 2 years acute care experience; new grads may be considered. RN license required, BSN preferred. Competitive pay with sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and premium differentials.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• 2 years acute care experience preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence-based care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
