Qualifications

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or eligible to obtain)
• Experience teaching students at all grade levels
• Working knowledge of the revised BC Curriculum standards and core competencies
• Ability to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with academic, social and emotional learning difficulties
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Ability to relate well with students, parents and staff members
• Committed to following the goals and strategies outlined in the school and district framework for enhanced learning
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
