Job summary

Holston Medical Group in Kingsport, TN is seeking a Resource Nurse to support patient care across locations. You will greet patients, record vital signs, prepare for examinations and assist providers within our Patient-Centered Medical Home model.

Requirements include High School diploma, LPN license or MA certification, CPR, and 3–5 years of experience. Compensation ranges from $17.37 to $26.36 per hour plus mileage reimbursement and incentives for multi-location work.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of healthcare experience.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with needs using patient-first values.
• Greet patients with compassion and a friendly face.
• Record vital signs accurately in electronic records.
• Prepare patients for examinations.
• Obtain prior authorizations and pre-certifications as needed.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and stocked supplies.
• Ensure equipment is in operating order and sterile instruments.
• Mentor new nursing staff and orient to the office.
• Enroll patients in myHMG as directed.
• May work at multiple locations as needed.
