Job summary

Holston Medical Group is a multispecialty clinic within the Optum family, delivering high-quality, value-based care across multiple locations. The Resource Nurse role involves moving between sites, performing vitals, data collection, EMR use, and patient preparation in diverse offices.

You will support health education and assist with prior authorizations and vaccines, while maintaining supplies and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• LPN license or MA Certification by the state in which employed.
• 3-5 years experience.
• CPR certified.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and collect patient data.
• Use EMR and prepare patients for examinations.
• Serve as a Health Educator as directed in the Patient-Centered Medical Home Health Care Delivery Model.
• Obtain prior authorizations and pre-certifications as needed for procedures or tests.
• Move between Holston Medical Group locations and assist with vaccines and medications as needed.
• Maintain supplies, equipment and room readiness; ensure confidentiality of PHI.
