Job summary

Holston Medical Group seeks a Resource Nurse to support multiple locations across northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia. You will move between offices using vital signs, data collection, EMR proficiency, vaccine handling, and patient preparation to ensure efficient examinations and high-quality care.

The role includes obtaining prior authorizations, educating patients, maintaining supply chains, and upholding confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• LPN license or MA Certification by the state.
• 3-5 years experience.
• CPR certified.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others.

Responsibilities

• Move between Holston Medical Group locations as needed.
• Take vitals and collect data.
• Use EMR and prepare patients for examinations.
• Maintain supplies and sterilize equipment.
• Obtain prior authorizations for procedures or tests.
• Provide patient education and customer service checks.
• Move/sharpen focus on patient PHI confidentiality.
• Ensure office policies and procedures are followed.
