Role Summary

As a PMO Resource Manager in Equiniti Retirement Solutions, you will optimize the allocation and utilization of the company's most valuable resources—its human talent. Working with the Workstream Senior PMO Lead and the wider Resource Management Team, you will ensure that professionals are efficiently allocated to support project delivery and the company's success. This role requires a strong understanding of resource management in a professional services environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

Core Duties/Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain resource management processes to ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization for pipeline and ongoing projects.
  2. Collaborate with Senior PMO Lead, Project Managers, and Department Heads to gather resource requirements and create aligned resource plans.
  3. Define prioritization of change activities and maintain a methodology for prioritization to support informed business decisions.
  4. Monitor resource utilization and availability, proactively addressing constraints or bottlenecks.
  5. Maintain accurate records of resource allocations, availability, headcount, and utilization, highlighting resource gaps.
  6. Design and own a Stakeholder Communication Plan to provide updates on resource status and address issues.
  7. Analyze resource utilization data, present findings to leadership, and advise on optimization opportunities.
  8. Support strategies to improve resource efficiency and maximize utilization.
  9. Guide project teams on resource management best practices.
  10. Maintain skills and certification data to identify future gaps and ensure appropriate project alignments.
  11. Resolve complex resource escalations, considering their impact on revenue, people, and the wider portfolio.

  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

  6. Knowledge of project management methodologies used in professional services.

  11. Initiative in resolving complex resource planning issues with stakeholder agreement.
