We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Resource Management, Senior Specialist (Tax) in our Mid-Atlantic region.

This position is considered remote, with the possibility of requiring presence at a CohnReznick office for client work, meetings, or training, with prior notice.

Your Role

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor utilization levels for 75+ professionals, highlighting variances and issues.
  • Manage resource requests, PTO, CPE, via our RM technology platform.
  • Understand specialization requirements, timing, staffing, and geographic considerations for assigned units.
  • Maintain understanding of employees’ skills, interests, and career preferences.
  • Apply resource planning methodologies to inform decisions based on cost, skills, and interests.
  • Deliver monthly staffing metrics to improve visibility and staffing sharing.
  • Ensure workforce is efficiently planned to meet operational needs and SLAs.
  • Communicate effectively internally and with vendors.
  • Possess working knowledge of resource management platforms.
  • Influence others to accept planning proposals using data and business cases.
  • Oversee processes and technology related to resource management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the resource management center of expertise.
Your Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A 4-year degree in Business Management/Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • At least 3 years of relevant resource management or workforce planning experience, or as an assurance/tax professional.
  • Knowledge of resource management procedures and ability to translate them for business units and leaders.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, and analytics.
  • Understanding of financial statements and utilization metrics.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and analytical skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Ability to exercise creative problem-solving.
  • Up to 10% travel may be required.
