Job description

We are PMG

PMG, a global independent platform company engineered for impact, integrates business strategy, media, creative, and data within a single operating model powered by our proprietary operating system, Alli. With more than 1,000 employees, PMG partners with brands including Apple, Nike, Dropbox, Experian, Sephora, and Whole Foods. Our work has earned top industry honors, including Cannes Lions and Adweek's Media Plan of the Year, and PMG has won 40+ workplace culture awards, including being the only company to rank among Ad Age's Best Places to Work for 11 consecutive years.

Who You’ll Be Working With

We are seeking a seasoned, strategic, and people-first Resource Management Sr. Principal to build and lead PMG's centralized resourcing function. This leader will play a critical role in enabling our operating model by ensuring that our people are deployed to the work where they can drive the greatest business impact — and grow the most as professionals.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to the C-Suite, bringing deep expertise in workforce planning, resource optimization, and operational scale. You'll work across client teams, practice excellence teams, operations, and leadership to build a system that empowers people, improves performance, and unlocks long-term scale.

What You Will Do
  • Contribute to the evolution of our Resource Management function, including team structure, data models, operational processes, and tooling.
  • Design and operationalize allocation models across long-term team-based and short-term task-based work — balancing strategic fit with resource optimization.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on how best to deploy talent across accounts, practices, and business lines in line with company growth, team health, and client needs.
  • Partner with client teams and practice excellence leaders to ensure alignment between talent supply and demand, and facilitate strong skill-to-role matching.
  • Maintain a centralized, real-time view of resource management metrics (e.g., utilization and capacity), skills, and demand across the organization to inform decision‑making.
  • Implement systems and tools to support efficient resource planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Establish fair and transparent processes for resourcing requests, prioritization, and conflict resolution.
  • Champion PMG's values and talent philosophy, ensuring people have continuous access to high-quality opportunities that support long-term career development
What you will Bring:
  • 10+ years in resource management, workforce planning, or operations, ideally within a professional services or agency environment; media or marketing experience highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to build and scale centralized resource management practices in complex, fast‑paced organizations.
  • Experience supporting both dedicated team structures and flexible task-based models.
  • Executive presence and credibility to influence and advise senior leaders, including C-level executives.
  • Passion for people development, equitable opportunity, and building a culture of growth.
  • Strong analytical and decision‑making skills, supported by experience with capacity planning and resource management systems.
  • Exceptional communication and change management skills
