Resource Family Advocate KS

Salary Range: $42,000 - $45,000

Responsibilities

• Assist assigned families with problem‑solving, obtaining resources and addressing identified needs.
• Maintain timely communication with case management team members and supervisors regarding assigned families.
• Ensure electronic records in Avatar and Care Match are accurate and current.
• Provide support and assistance to the Placement Finding Team to identify placements for children based on accurate knowledge of assigned families.
• Support additional Resource Development functions through community recruitment events, screening potential resource families, leading information meetings, etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or a related human services field.
• Master's degree in social work; adoption and foster care experience preferred.
• At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
• A valid driver's license in the state of residence, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
