Job summary

Cornerstones of Care is seeking a Foster Care Case Management Specialist KS to join our team in Kansas City. This role focuses on managing services for children and families under the Foster Care Case Management Contract.

You will engage in family finding, recruit homes to meet permanency needs, and analyze individual cases using advanced child welfare knowledge to craft supportive service recommendations. Collaboration with the treatment team is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of work experience in the child welfare arena.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice, or another human services related field (required).
• Master’s degree in social work, criminal justice, or another human services related field (preferred).
• At least 21 years of age and ability to pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Work with children/families and other treatment team members to obtain permanency, reunification, adoption, or guardianship.

• Starting Salary: $46,000 – $50,000
