Job summary

United Way of South Mississippi is seeking a Director of Resource Development to lead diverse revenue streams and advance the community agenda. You will oversee workplace giving, major gifts, and all fundraising efforts while building strong relationships with partners and volunteers.

In this role, you will develop growth strategies, recruit and manage volunteers, plan annual campaigns, and coordinate events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or related field.
• Public speaking experience.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and maintain donor relationships, including database management and communications.
• Develop and implement campaign strategies to maximize financial resources.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications on materials and messaging.
