Job summary

Nordic Valley Resort in Eden, Utah is seeking a Snack Shack Cashier / Beer Server for the seasonal period. You will greet guests, take orders, handle payments, and serve beverages including beer, while adhering to Utah laws and the resort's alcohol service plan.

Ideal candidates are energetic and guest-focused, thriving in a fast-paced mountain resort; prior cash handling or guest-service experience is a plus, with weekend/holiday availability expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old to sell/serve alcohol.
• Utah DABS-approved alcohol server training certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and create a positive service experience.
• Accurately take orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Process payments and balance the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift.
• Serve beer in compliance with Utah law and the Nordic Valley plan, including age verification.
• Answer guest questions about menu items and allergens.
• Keep the counter and guest areas clean, stocked, and organized.
• Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies are running low.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and cleaning tasks.
• Support event functions and collaborate with team members.
