Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe and welcoming environment across resort property, assisting guests and associates while protecting assets. The role involves visible patrols, incident documentation, and active participation in emergency responses.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of security experience and hold an active Hawaii Guard Card. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and working in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• Knowledge of safety and security practices and procedures.
• Active Hawaii Guard Card.
• Ability to carry and move items such as luggage, boxes, rollaway beds and cribs weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements including standing, walking, climbing, and exposure to indoor/outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Patrol resort property and adjoining public areas to maintain visibility and identify safety or security concerns.
• Respond promptly to requests for assistance from guests and associates and investigate incidents as appropriate.
• Document reported or observed violations, infractions and security incidents accurately.
• Protect guests, associates, visitors and resort assets from damage, theft and vandalism.
• Respond to emergencies, including CPR, first aid, medical emergencies and fire incidents.
• Provide instructions and guidance to guests and associates during safety or emergency situations.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
