Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Security Officer to protect guests, associates and resort assets across our properties in Hawaii. The role requires patrolling, incident response and reporting, with a focus on safety and professionalism.

A $500 sign-on bonus is available for qualified hires. Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, enforcing safety policies, and maintaining a secure environment while delivering excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security experience.
• Knowledge of safety and security practices and procedures.
• Active Hawaii Guard Card.
• Excellent English communication skills for security documentation and safety instructions.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role (standing/walking/driving/bending).
• Work in indoor and outdoor environments, in varied temperatures and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Patrol resort property and adjoining public areas to maintain visibility and safety.
• Respond to safety and security concerns and investigate incidents.
• Document violations, incidents and security events accurately.
• Protect resort assets from damage, vandalism and theft.
• Respond to emergencies, including CPR, first aid, and fires, as needed.
• Provide guidance to guests and associates during safety or emergency situations.
