Job summary

MyrtleBeach Seaside Resorts is seeking two courteous and proactive Courtesy/Security Officers for overnight shifts at the Seaside Resort. You will identify and report incidents, assist in keeping guests, owners and team members safe, and coordinate with other departments to ensure a secure environment.

The positions run 11pm–7am with an hourly rate of $14–$16. CPR or First Aid is preferred, previous security experience is required, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• CPR or First Aid certified, preferred
• Previous experience required

Responsibilities

• Followall company safety and security policies and procedures; report anymaintenance problems/safety hazards
• Callfor assistance when needed (police, Ems, fire department, etc.)
• Completesincident reports to document all Loss Prevention related incidents
• Maintainsconfidentiality of all Loss Prevention and property reports/documents;releases information only to authorized individuals.
• Performs periodic and random inspections of the buildingand grounds protecting property from theft, embezzlement, vandalism, fire,and accidents. Good understanding of emergency systems and alarm systems.
• Maintains inspection reports and records, advisesmanagement of deficiencies
• Provides outstanding guest/owner service at all timesincluding answering general inquiries, providing directions, deliveringpackages/amenities
• Patrol of the interior and perimeter of resort to observeand identify. Potential security and safety risks or undesirableconditions.
• Other requests of management to help co- workers with theirjob duties
