Job summary

The Kingston Resorts in Myrtle Beach, SC is hiring a full-time Security Officer for the 2nd shift to patrol the interior and perimeter of the hotel and property, observe safety risks, respond to emergencies, and promote safe work practices.

Responsibilities include initiating investigations, writing accurate reports, resolving guest concerns promptly, and maintaining calm, professional interactions with guests and staff.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of security experience in a similar industry; 3–5 years preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of building floor plans, layout, and local area.
• Ability to communicate in English, listen, document information clearly.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for the duration of the shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, and work in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Patrol interior and perimeter of the hotel and property to identify safety and security risks.
• Respond to emergencies including safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life or property.
• Promote safe work practices and initiate investigations as needed.
• Write reports and ensure accuracy of documentation.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
