Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Wisconsin Dells is seeking a Security/EMS Provider to safeguard guests, associates, vendors, and property across aquatic and dry attractions, convention center, and resort areas. You’ll apply life-saving skills, respond to emergencies, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all on duty.

Qualifications

• Hotel or Resort experience is preferred.
• Must be able to write, read, and speak English effectively. Bi-lingual skills are helpful but not required.
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• A valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
• Current American Red Cross licenses: First Aid, Basic Life Support CPR or CPR for Professional Rescuers, AED, Emergency Oxygen Administration (will certify in-house).
• Recommended American Red Cross – Emergency Medical Responder; NREMT – Emergency Medical Responder

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests feel welcome and safe with responsive, friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Patrol lobbies, floors, common areas, associate areas, basement, and grounds.
• Check in with shift supervisor/manager-on-duty on arrival; review security logs and reports daily.
• Apply first aid procedures as needed for any person(s).
• Keep first aid logs and incident reports filled out.
• Maintain open communication with all departments and keep them informed about department activities.
