Job summary

Chetola Resort in Blowing Rock, NC, is seeking a lively Recreation Attendant to support daily operations across our property. You will help guests enjoy lake activities, fitness facilities, and lawn games while keeping areas safe, clean, and welcoming.

Collaborate with the Recreation Lead and team to set up activities, assist guests, monitor safety, and ensure equipment is well maintained. A passion for outdoor recreation, hospitality, and a proactive, guest-focused attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Friendly, engaging, guest-focused attitude.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and stay active.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lake activities and lawn games and guide guests.
• Greet guests and provide friendly guidance on activities and amenities.
• Set up and run daily activities, classes, and events.
• Monitor safety, assist guests, and report maintenance needs.
• Support opening/closing of recreation areas and keep spaces stocked.
