Winter Sports, Inc. is seeking a Property Management Accountant in Whitefish, MT to join the General Accounting team.

The role entails reconciling ledgers, maintaining accounting records, billing leases, and generating monthly/ quarterly financial statements for resort operations and HOAs. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or equivalent experience), strong analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Office, QuickBooks, and Great Plains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or three years of related accounting experience.
• Knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Cash Receipts.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks and Great Plains Accounting) preferred.
• Knowledge of StreamLine Property Management and Resort Point of Sale Systems (e.g. RTP) preferred.
• Knowledge of property management laws and reporting requirements preferred.
• Strong analytical skill and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and change priorities when required.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently with little supervision.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Reconcile general ledger accounts as assigned.
• Maintain books and accounting records, monitoring budget variances, producing financial statements.
• Monthly billing of leases and other contracted services including Trash billing.
• Track and post company credit cards expenses in accounting software.
• Develop analytical reports for Controller and CFO related to profit center operations.
• Create and post daily/monthly/recurring journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
