Marquette Mountain Resort is seeking an Accounting Assistant to provide administrative and financial support to the General Manager. The role includes maintaining accounting records, overseeing expenses, managing cash handling procedures, and performing varied administrative duties to keep the resort financially healthy.

You will work with responsible teams to compile monthly reports, support budgets, and ensure accuracy in QuickBooks and Concur.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or 1 year of equivalent accounting experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• High attention to detail and accuracy; excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Post and review general ledger journal entries.
• Weekly reconciliation of expense receipts in Concur.
• Enter daily POS shift reports into QuickBooks.
• Reconcile bank activity and cash deposits daily.
• Present monthly financial reports to management.
• Assist with budgeting and departmental expense tracking.
• Maintain filing and record-keeping, including licenses and invoices.
