Big Sky Resort is hosting a four-month culinary residency led by Grant Achatz and The Alinea Group, delivering a distinctive alpine dining experience with locally sourced seasonal menus in a Montana retreat.

As a Porter, you will help maintain sanitation and support service in a full-time hourly role, averaging 40+ hours per week. Open availability and the ability to stand for long shifts are required for success in this demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Stocks, cleans, polishes, and maintains equipment and tableware for service, including dishware, utensils, and interior decor.
• Operates dish machine, cleaning tools, and other equipment with precision and accuracy.
• Quickly and safely polishes and restocks a wide variety of plate ware.
• Works closely with back-of-house staff to remedy any immediate needs during service.
• Reports any maintenance deficiencies to the appropriate resource.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors/carpets; remove garbage to compactors or recycling bins.
• Maintain general cleanliness of dining rooms, kitchens, restrooms and outside areas.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
