Job summary

Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking a Pool Attendant responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of all resort aquatic facilities.

You will perform water testing, chemical balancing, equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and record keeping, while upholding health and safety standards and providing a safe guest experience.

This role requires the ability to work independently, respond to emergencies, and support resort operations during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math skills and the ability to calculate chemical measurements and ratios.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and emergency call-outs.
• CPO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test and maintain water chemistry levels in all pools, spas, hot tubs, and aquatic facilities.
• Monitor and adjust chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and other water quality levels.
• Inspect, backwash filters, and maintain filtration systems and related equipment.
• Maintain daily pool and spa operation logs and records of maintenance activities.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and uphold safety standards across all aquatic venues.
