Job summary

The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Pool Technician to maintain and repair our resort pools and spa areas. Daily inspections, balancing water chemistry, and keeping surfaces clean ensure guest safety and satisfaction.

You will monitor pumps, filters, and chemical controllers, perform minor repairs, and maintain accurate maintenance records. A high school diploma and at least one year of pool maintenance experience are required; CPO certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in pool maintenance or related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pool and spa systems daily (pumps, filters, heaters, chemical controllers).
• Balance and test water chemistry to maintain proper pH, chlorine, and alkalinity.
• Clean pools and skimmers; vacuum as needed for cleanliness.
• Monitor equipment and perform minor repairs; escalate major repairs as needed.
