Job summary

Madden's on Gull Lake in Brainerd, Minnesota, is seeking a full-time Painter to maintain and beautify our resort buildings. The role involves preparing surfaces, applying paints and finishes, and ensuring safe, tidy work areas.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent). Work is performed on-site in a multi-facility resort environment with a 7:30am–3:30pm schedule, Monday through Friday, and travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and repairing holes and cracks.
• Apply latex and oil-based paints and varnishes.
• Finish newly hung drywall by taping joints and applying joint compound.
• Fix blemishes on walls and ceilings by skim coating and sanding.
• Follow all company and government safety guidelines and requirements.
