Qualifications

• Experience as painter for interior/exterior surfaces.
• Ability to perform drywall repair, patching, sanding, texturing, finishing.
• Knowledge of stains, varnishes, lacquers, specialty coatings preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, prime, and paint interior and exterior surfaces throughout the resort.
• Paint and maintain guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, back-of-house areas, and facilities.
• Perform drywall repairs including patching, taping, sanding, texturing, and finishing.
• Apply stains, varnishes, lacquers, sealants, and other specialty finishes as required.
• Conduct detailed touch-ups and finish work to uphold appearance standards.
• Prepare surfaces to ensure high-quality, durable finishes.
• Protect furniture, flooring, fixtures, and surrounding areas during work.
• Communicate with Engineering leadership about timelines, materials, and needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area during each project.
• Follow resort safety procedures and use PPE and chemicals properly.
