Lake Lawn Resort is seeking a skilled Specialty Technician – Painter to join the Engineering and Facilities team. You will prepare, prime, and paint interior and exterior surfaces across guest rooms, public areas, and facilities, while performing drywall repairs and applying specialty finishes.

Qualifications

• Previous painter experience preferred in commercial, residential, or upkeep settings.
• Experience with interior and exterior painting and surface prep.
• Knowledge of drywall repair, patching, sanding, finishing techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use paints and solvents properly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, prime, and paint interior and exterior surfaces throughout the resort.
• Paint and maintain guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, and back-of-house areas.
• Perform drywall repairs including patching, taping, sanding, texturing, and finishing.
• Apply stains, varnishes, lacquers, and specialty coatings as required.
• Conduct detailed touch-ups and finish work to meet appearance standards.
• Prepare surfaces for painting and protect furniture, flooring, fixtures, and surroundings.
• Coordinate with Engineering leadership on timelines, materials, and needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; follow PPE and safety protocols.
