Job summary

Columbia Hospitality is seeking an Assistant General Manager for The Resort at Papakea on Maui, Hawaii. You will partner with the General Manager to direct daily operations, deliver exceptional experiences for owners, residents, guests and team members, and lead high-performing teams across departments.

You will ensure service excellence, manage budget considerations, participate in owner communications, and support the AOAO Board while maintaining a culture of accountability and guest-focused

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring exceptional service for owners, residents, guests and team members.
• Provide leadership and operational oversight for Front Office, Grounds, Engineering, Security and other departments as assigned.
• Serve as Manager on Duty, maintaining a visible presence and addressing guest concerns, owner requests and emergencies.
• Ensure safety, security and emergency procedures are followed, coordinating with Security and Engineering teams.
• Assist with preparing and managing departmental budgets, monitoring labor and operating expenses and seeking efficiencies.
