Job summary

Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort is seeking an Engineering Technician II to support resort operations with maintenance projects, preventive work orders, and timely repairs. The role emphasizes quality service while ensuring guest safety and comfort across a world‑class resort in Central Florida.

Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, HVAC basics, wall and fixture repairs, pool and water feature care, and inventory duties.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on trades/maintenance experience in resort or commercial settings.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) license is required by the resort.
• Written and verbal communication in English is expected.
• Able to lift/move up to 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks including projects and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues; replace fixtures and piping as needed.
• Repair minor electrical components (receptacles, ballasts).
• Diagnose/repair appliances and household fixtures.
• Understand HVAC systems and perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Repair walls, ceilings, textures, painting, caulking.
• Repair or replace tiles, grout, carpet as required.
• Work with pools/spas and water features; balance chemicals.
