Job summary

Grand Pacific Resorts seeks a Maintenance Tech I to perform basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs across resort facilities. You will work under supervision, participate in safety programs, and use CMMS to manage work orders.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in hospitality maintenance, solid safety awareness, and strong customer focus to service guests and colleagues. Availability for varied shifts and on-call duties is required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance experience in hospitality or related trade.
• Electrical: outlets, switches, ballasts; use a multimeter; troubleshoot circuits.
• Plumbing: plunger/closet auger; drain-cleaning machine; install showerheads/faucets.
• HVAC: basic understanding; replace filters; thermostats.
• General repairs: furniture, drywall patches, carpet, vinyl; painting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs of the property, common areas, and guest rooms with minimal supervision.
• Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas; locate and operate shut-off valves.
• Use CMMS and mobile apps to create/close work orders with data (labor hours, downtime, cause, parts).
• Communicate with guests to triage issues, set service expectations, verify completion to quality standards.
• Adhere to OSHA and resort safety programs; participate in safety committees and on-call shifts.
