Job summary

Grand Pacific Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to support maintenance tasks across the resort facilities. This entry-level role emphasizes safety, proactive maintenance, and guest satisfaction, with routine inspections and basic repairs in guest rooms and common areas.

You will use CMMS to manage work orders, operate basic electrical/plumbing/HVAC tasks, and collaborate with team members to resolve issues efficiently. On-call availability and off-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hospitality or related maintenance experience.
• Basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC knowledge and basic repairs.
• Proficiency with CMMS and mobile devices for work orders.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; strong customer service.
• English proficiency; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs of the property, common areas, and guest rooms.
• Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas; locate shut-off valves.
• Create and close CMMS work orders with data (labor hours, downtime, parts).
• Communicate with resort guests to triage facilities issues and set service expectations.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and participate in safety programs.
