Job summary

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance experience in the hospitality industry, building maintenance, or a related trade.
• Electrical knowledge with troubleshooting capabilities.
• Plumbing knowledge including use of plunger/outhouse auger and drain-cleaning equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge of HVAC, thermostats, and basic systems.
• General repair skills for furniture, drywall, carpet, and vinyl flooring.

Responsibilities

• Support Grand Pacific Resorts policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on property, focusing on basic electrical, plumbing, painting, appliance repair, and HVAC with minimal supervision.
• Undergo training to enhance troubleshooting and repair skills; seek guidance from senior team members for complex issues.
• Operate CMMS and mobile apps to create/close work orders with data (labor hours, downtime, cause/remedy, parts).
• Communicate with resort guests to triage facilities issues and set service expectations.
• Maintain tools, inventory, and a safe work environment following OSHA guidelines.
