Job summary

Tropic Hideaway RV Resort in Foley, Alabama is looking for a skilled Maintenance Tech to perform routine maintenance and repairs across the property, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and general handyman tasks. You will maintain RV sites, utilities, and amenities to keep guests safe and comfortable.

Qualified candidates will have experience in facilities maintenance, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience in resorts, facilities, hotels, or similar environments preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs independently.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across the resort, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general handyman tasks
• Maintain RV sites, utilities, and hookups to ensure safe operation
• Inspect and maintain resort amenities (clubhouse, pool, bathhouses, laundry, courts, playground)
• Complete work orders promptly and professionally
• Troubleshoot issues and recommend repairs or replacements when needed
• Operate maintenance equipment safely and responsibly
• Keep accurate records of work orders and preventative maintenance
• Follow OSHA guidelines and company policies
• Provide friendly, professional service to guests and residents
