Job summary

Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors is hiring Resort Maintenance Technicians to perform routine and preventive upkeep at our resorts. You will handle building and grounds maintenance, assist with site setups, and ensure guest and resident satisfaction while maintaining safety and curb appeal.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, the ability to lift 50 lbs, outdoor work in varying weather, and the use of hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months in maintenance preferred.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in seasonal temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and perform basic maintenance duties with tools.
• Complete minor repairs to rental units and facilities as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor emergency repairs (plumbing, sewage, construction, streets).
• Inspect irrigation systems and repair as necessary.
• Inspect playgrounds, pool/spa areas and other amenities for safety and upkeep.
• Maintain resort grounds: weed control, mowing, planting, mulching, trimming.
