Job summary

Sun Outdoors is seeking Resort Maintenance Technicians to perform routine and preventative maintenance, repairs, and grounds upkeep across our resort properties. You will ensure cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal while assisting with guest arrivals and site setups.

The role emphasizes outdoor work, use of hand and power tools, and the ability to operate equipment and complete written reports. On-call availability and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of general maintenance techniques and repair work.
• Ability to endure seasonal outdoor conditions.
• Proficient with hand tools, power equipment and basic machinery.
• Ability to provide legible written reports.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Must lift at least 50 pounds.
• Basic computer use including email and internet.
• On-call availability for resort needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to rental units and facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of property grounds, facilities, streets, and equipment.
• Inspect irrigation systems, playgrounds, pools, and recreational amenities for safety and upkeep.
• Operate tools and equipment safely for maintenance tasks.
• Assist with site setups to ensure timely guest arrivals and departures.
• Follow safety procedures and report facility issues to the manager.
• Respond to resort needs during non-business hours as required.
• Support resort operations and supervise contractors when needed.
• Keep resort areas presentable and in line with curb appeal standards.
