Job summary

Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors is hiring Resort Maintenance Technicians to perform routine and preventative maintenance at our resorts. You will handle building repairs, grounds upkeep, and ensure the property remains clean, safe, and inviting for guests and residents.

You will also assist with site setups, manage irrigation, perform weed control and lawn care, and support with minor repairs to rental units and facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months in maintenance experience at a campground or RV resort preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of general maintenance techniques and repair work.
• Ability to endure outdoor work in seasonal temperatures.
• Proficient with tools, power equipment and commercial machinery.
• Able to provide legible written reports and work well independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to rental units and facilities.
• Inspect irrigation systems and repair as needed.
• Maintain resort grounds: weed control, trimming, planting, mulch spreading.
• Ensure resort streets and common areas are clean and hazard-free.
• Assist with site setups and guest/ resident arrivals and departures.
