Job summary

Avista Rentals LLC in Myrtle Beach is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Avista Resort to keep the property's interiors and exteriors in top condition.

You will perform a broad range of upkeep tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry, while minimizing guest disturbance and following safety procedures.

This full-time role offers weekly pay and benefits, with flexible scheduling including weekends, and opportunities to contribute to preventative maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel/resort maintenance or similar setting.
• Ability to diagnose and repair common building systems.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and security policies; report hazards.
• Perform maintenance and repairs with minimal guest disturbance.
• Replace light fixtures, fix drywall/wallpaper, paint as needed.
• Repair plumbing to prevent water damage and restore fixtures.
• Address electrical issues; perform light electrical work.
• Diagnose HVAC issues and assist with upkeep.
• Repair appliances, furniture, fixtures.
• Complete work orders accurately and promptly.
• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Maintain clean, safe storage and work spaces.
