Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the daily operation of the Maintenance Department at our Newport resort, ensuring preventive maintenance and high quality standards.

You will lead a team, manage schedules, coordinate with front desk and vendors, and control safety, cost, and guest satisfaction. Four years of related maintenance experience and two years supervisory experience are required, along with CPR and a Certified Pool Operator credential and a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• Four years related maintenance experience.
• Two years supervisory experience.
• CPR certification or in the process of attaining.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Certified Pool Operators designation or in process of obtaining.
• Ability to grasp, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Physical requirements: standing, walking, climbing, reaching, stooping, kneeling and crouching.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of the Maintenance Department.
• Ensure unit and common area cleanliness and that resort units are maintained within standard.
• Manage the maintenance process in collaboration with front office and support departments to ensure owner satisfaction.
• Hire, train, motivate, recognize, coach and develop associates through incentives and training plans.
• Manage and support all financial aspects of the department.
• Assign and direct weekly schedules and daily duties; procure products; perform payroll duties; conduct audits and performance reviews.
• Maintain vendor relationships and 3rd party contractors (landscaping, temp labor, maintenance and mechanical).
