Job summary

Horseshoe Bay Resort, part of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, seeks a Laundry Manager to lead all resort laundry operations and ensure quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. You will manage budgets, equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and staff development while collaborating with Housekeeping and other departments.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in budgets and scheduling, and the ability to adapt to peak periods in a fast-paced resort environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of supervisory or management experience in laundry or related field.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience managing labor, scheduling, inventory, and budgets.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment, production processes, and safety practices.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all laundry operations, including washing, drying, finishing, and distribution of linens and uniforms.
• Maintain efficient workflows and production schedules to meet resort demands.
• Manage departmental budgets, labor costs, payroll, and operating expenses.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies within budget.
• Partner with Engineering to maintain laundry equipment and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and procedures.
• Evaluate and implement process improvements and new technologies.
• Respond to operational challenges and develop contingency plans.
