Job summary

Jay Peak is seeking a dedicated HVAC Technician Apprentice to join our hotel maintenance team. This full-time, year-round role supports installation, maintenance and repair of commercial plumbing and HVAC systems across our resort facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, basic math and reading skills, and a willingness to obtain LP, Refrigeration and HVAC certifications. We offer paid vacation, health benefits, 401k eligibility with employer match, and season

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience welcomed.
• Must have Vermont Operator’s License and be eligible for Jay Peak Inc’s insurance policy.
• Willing to obtain LP, Refrigeration and HVAC certifications.
• Ability to read safety rules and operate maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation and maintenance of commercial plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair HVAC systems and controls.
• Assist in preventive maintenance across facilities.
• Assist in researching materials for HVAC installation and repair.
