Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Room Attendant and/or Housekeeping Inspector preferred
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in hospitality strongly preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to make sound decisions regarding staff performance and guest service
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and efficiency
• Ability to work in a fast-paced resort environment

Responsibilities

• Participate in evaluation and development of team members
• Communicate employee performance to Housekeeping Management, including recognition, coaching, or corrective action
• Ensure all team members follow Hawks Cay Resort Handbook policies and procedures
• Coordinate with Rental Management and Engineering for repairs, maintenance, and replacements
• Report guest policy violations and monitor room status changes
• Supervise daily performance of Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Inspectors
• Train and retrain staff to meet resort quality standards
• Perform spot checks for quality control behind Room Attendants and Inspectors
• Provide hands-on coaching and demonstrate proper procedures
• Reassign tasks and credits as needed throughout the day
• Inspect rooms/villas returning from out-of-order status and assign appropriately
• Monitor system updates, ECOs, arrivals, and status changes
• Ensure checklists are completed by Inspectors and Housepersons
• Maintain communication with all departments to support daily operations
