Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Springfield, MA is seeking a Houseperson to assist Guestroom Attendants and uphold a clean, guest-ready environment. Prior housekeeping or facilities experience in a resort setting is valued, with a strong eye for detail and adherence to resort standards.

The role supports daily operations, involving item delivery to rooms, stock management, and compliance with safety protocols. 18+ and a full-time schedule are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar resort setting is preferred.
• Knowledgeable of cleaning procedures, equipment, and supplies.
• Able and willing to work a Full-time schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday: 9AM - 5:45pm and holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that assigned areas are kept clean and neat.
• Clean ash urns, lamps, mirrors, photos; mop and clean marble or tile floors.
• Deliver requested items to guest rooms (fridges, pillows, rollaway beds, etc.).
• Empty trash and linens from Guest Room Attendants’ carts as needed.
• Maintain inventory levels, deliver supplies to lockers, and stock them.
• Follow safety and cleaning procedures, pull room procedures, and mattress flipping.
• Clean restrooms, vacuum halls, lobbies, edges; clean railings and wallpaper marks.
