Job summary

MGM Resorts International's Luxor is seeking a Housekeeping Floor Manager to oversee daily housekeeping operations, supervise staff, assign workloads, and ensure our guest rooms, hallways, lockers, and lobbies meet the highest cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of housekeeping supervisory experience, is at least 18 years old, and holds a High School diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of housekeeping supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of the assigned housekeeping area.
• Supervise, train, direct, and assist all employees in the area.
• Distribute workload fairly and evenly to those assigned to the station.
• Conduct daily briefing and schedule meetings with Guest Room Attendants and House Persons.
• Ensure cleanliness of rooms, hallways, lockers, and lobbies and that work is done properly.
• Perform daily guest room inspections and monitor productivity; report areas below standards.
