Job summary

Sun Outdoors is seeking resort housekeepers to maintain and sanitize resort facilities, buildings and rental properties to ensure a clean, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, stock replenishment, and following safety procedures, with attention to floor care, windows, laundry areas and overall appearance. A high school diploma or GED is required along with the ability to lift 25 pounds and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months cleaning homes or large facilities preferred.
• General janitorial knowledge and safety with cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Basic computer skills including email and internet.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and stock areas as needed.
• Clean appliances; defrost freezer as needed.
• Clean bathrooms; ensure lighting and place mats for safety.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or defective equipment.
• Maintain overall appearance of resort facilities.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, wax, and buff floors as needed.
• Clean windows and screens; ensure functionality.
• Maintain washers and dryers; remove lint.
• Keep offices and buildings clean and neat; empty trash.
• Clean/replace vents and filters as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
