Job summary

Sun Outdoors is seeking a Resort Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness across resort facilities and rental properties. You will sanitize surfaces, stock supplies, and ensure safe, welcoming spaces for guests.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift 25 pounds; prior housekeeping experience is preferred. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience cleaning homes or large facilities preferred (6 months).
• Knowledge of general janitorial work.
• Familiar with safety measures when using cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Basic computer skills including the ability to use email and internet.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and stock areas with supplies.
• Clean and sanitize appliances; defrost freezer as needed.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms; ensure lighting and safety mats.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or defective equipment.
• Maintain overall appearance of resort buildings and facilities.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, wax, and buff floors.
• Clean windows and screens; ensure functioning.
• Maintain washers and dryers; wipe surfaces; remove lint.
• Empty trash; keep offices and buildings neat.
• Clean vents and filters; perform other duties as assigned.
