Job summary

Sun Outdoors is seeking a Resort Housekeeper to help keep our resort facilities, rental properties, and common areas clean and sanitary. You will stock supplies, sanitize rooms, and ensure safety and cleanliness across all spaces. The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, with 6 months of prior cleaning experience preferred.

Valid driver’s license and basic computer use are helpful. $18 per hour with full benefits and paid time off. Nearest markets: Bellingham/ Everett.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work
• Basic cleaning and safety practices
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and operate basic equipment

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks areas with products as needed.
• Cleans and sanitizes appliances to remove food debris; defrosts freezer as needed.
• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms; ensures safety with proper mats and lighting.
• Follows safety procedures; reports unsafe conditions and equipment issues.
• Maintains orderly appearance of resort buildings and facilities.
• Floors swept, vacuumed, mopped, waxed, and buffed as needed.
• Cleans windows and screens; maintains washers and dryers.
• Keeps offices and buildings clean; empties trash and manages waste.
• Cleans vents and filters as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned
