Job summary

Sun Outdoors is hiring Resort Housekeepers to maintain clean, sanitary resort facilities and rental properties. You will routinely sanitize areas, appliances, bathrooms, and common spaces, while following safety procedures and reporting hazards.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial or housekeeping work preferred.
• Knowledge of safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Basic computer skills including email and internet use.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and stock areas; ensure tables and chairs are clean and functional.
• Sanitize appliances, defrost freezers as needed.
• Clean bathrooms; ensure well-lit spaces and safety mats.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazardous conditions to management.
• Maintain clean and orderly resort facilities and offices.
• Vacuum, mop, wax, and buff floors as required.
• Clean windows and screens; maintain washers and dryers.
• Empty trash and tidy offices and buildings.
• Clean vents and change filters as needed.
