Sun Outdoors in Fort Myers is seeking Resort Housekeepers to keep resort facilities, buildings and rental properties clean, sanitary, and well-maintained. The role includes cleaning, sanitizing, stocking supplies, and helping ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests.

The position pays $16 per hour with full benefits, a 401(k) plan with company matching, and opportunities for advancement within Sun Outdoors locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Experience cleaning large facilities or homes preferred.
• Knowledge of safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks areas with cleaning supplies.
• Sanitizes appliances and defrosts freezers as needed.
• cleans bathrooms and maintains safety by proper mats.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards to management.
• Maintains overall resort appearance and order.
• Floors are swept, vacuumed, mopped, waxed, and buffed as needed.
• Cleans windows and screens; maintains washers/dryers.
• Keeps offices/buildings clean; empties trash.
• Cleans vents/filters; performs other duties as assigned.

Skills

General janitorial work

Safety with cleaning chemicals

Lift at least 25 pounds

Basic computer skills

Valid driver's license

6 months cleaning experience

Education

High School Diploma or GED
