Job summary

Sun Outdoors in Fort Myers is seeking Resort Housekeepers to maintain cleanliness of resort facilities, rental properties, and common areas. You will sanitize surfaces, stock supplies, and ensure safety standards are followed throughout the property.

Preferred candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of cleaning experience; ability to lift 25 pounds and basic computer skills are expected. This role offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months cleaning experience preferred.
• General janitorial knowledge.
• Safety knowledge with cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Basic computer skills including email and internet.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks areas with products as needed (Essential).
• Cleans and sanitizes appliances; defrosts freezer as needed (Essential).
• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms; ensures good lighting and safe mats.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards or defective equipment (Essential).
• Maintains overall resort, buildings, and facilities appearance.
• Floors are swept, vacuumed, mopped, waxed, and buffed as needed.
• Windows and screens are cleaned and functioning properly.
• Maintains washers and dryers; wipes surfaces; removes lint.
• Offices and buildings are clean and neat; empties trash as needed.
• Vents and filters are cleaned and changed as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
