Job summary

Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake of the Ozarks in Osage Beach, MO is seeking a dedicated housekeeping team member to maintain guest rooms and public areas to high standards.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, and strict adherence to safety and hotel policies. You will report to the Executive Housekeeper and help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for every guest. Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English to communicate with guests, colleagues, and vendors.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and safety guidelines; maintain professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Report to Housekeeping Office at the beginning of shift, pick up and sign out key, and return key when reporting to office at end of shift.
• Clean and maintain all assigned rooms and suites daily, including bed stripping, bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, checking of room lights, air conditioner unit, television, spot cleaning, and stocking all room supplies.
• Report any items missing from rooms and suites.
• Report all items in need of repair to supervisor and maintain equipment used in work.
• Scrupulously follow all safety guidelines, i.e.: blocking open door with cart.
• Protect guest safety and well-being; follow all policies and procedures, i.e.: guest missing room key must get replacement at front desk with identification.
• Greet all guests with warm, friendly welcome; inquire about their well-being.

Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age

Reports to: Executive Housekeeper
